Its safe to assume that most people wants a lean physique. When it comes to building the body of your dreams, you have to unfortunately bulk to put on some quality size gains. This article will explain to you what bulking is.

WHAT IS BULKING?
If you want gain quality muscle mass, your primary focus should be on increasing your daily caloric intake. To simplify it, a bulk is a period of time when you would consume an excess amount of calories, putting you in a caloric surplus. As a result you were see a increase in muscle mass, strength and body weight. When bulking, it is important to note that an increase in calories does not allow you to go all out on junk food. You should incorporate larger quantities of healthy foods and correctly track your macros. When bulking you will notice an increase in body fat. But the good news is, properly tracking your calories and macros will minimize fat gains.

HOW DO I GAIN QUALITY WEIGHT?
It is helpful to note that one pound is roughly 3500 calories. If you are looking to gain one pound per week. than you would need to consume an excess of 3500 calories per week (500 calories per day).  To ensure quality muscle gain, gaining one pound per week is sufficient.

BUT 500 CALORIES IS TOO MUCH
If you worried about gaining to much weight, I would recommend consuming an excess of 250 calories per day. This will lead you to gain only half a pound in a week. This will assure you that the majority of your gains will be muscle.

CAN I BULK AND CUT AT THE SAME TIME?
